Turn requirements into a working prototype
Design Pilot is a desktop design studio for Mac and Windows. Your team feeds a project its requirements, an AI coding agent writes the screens as real HTML and CSS, and everyone works on the same live project at once.
Who it's for
Design Pilot is for agency and product teams that design websites, landing pages, admin tools, client portals, dashboards and mobile apps.
- Sales and founders turn a client's brief or statement of work into a first prototype without starting from a blank canvas.
- Designers shape and refine the work: design systems, design tokens, screens and flows.
- Developers build the real product from the same HTML and CSS.
What it does
- Live projects: teammates and AI agents edit one project at the same time, and everyone sees each change as it happens.
- Your own AI agent: Design Pilot runs an AI coding tool you have installed and signed in to on your computer, such as Claude Code, on your own subscription. It does not bundle or resell an AI model.
- Context files: add the brief, the statement of work, screenshots or brand guides, and choose which ones the AI may read.
- A team library of templates, presets, design systems and skills, so new projects start from your own standards.
- Checkpoints before and after every AI run, so you can go back to an earlier state.
- Teams with roles and seats, a free Starter plan and a paid Professional plan.
Comments, tickets and private review links for clients are planned for later releases.
How Design Pilot uses your Google account
You sign in to Design Pilot with Google, and Design Pilot uses your name, email address and Google account ID only to create your account, show who you are to your team and match you to team invitations. If you choose "Add from Google Drive", Design Pilot asks for separate permission to the files you pick in Google's file picker (the drive.file permission), and it never sees the rest of your Drive. It stores a copy of each file you pick in that project, checks the file every hour and before each AI run for changes, and makes the copy available to the people on that project and to the AI coding tool that a project member runs on their own computer under their own account with that tool's provider. Design Pilot does not sell Google user data, does not use it for ads, and does not use it to train AI models. Design Pilot's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The privacy policy explains this in full.
